My Story:

I met my husband Ross at a Triathlon, and racing has been a big part of our lives. We love to compete (snowshoe, triathlons, bike races, running races, duathlons ... anything) and get to as many races as full-time workers can get to. During winter we enjoy snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Since we can't go more than 45 days without some sort of race, snowshoe racing seemed like the logical winter activity. It helps keep us in shape, off the treadmill, and in the outdoors where we love to be.

Our twin boys are now 2 & 1/2 years old and this winter should be a blast. They love to play outside, and this year their balance in the snow will be so much better than last year. We plan to get them started on skis and snowshoes this year.

Accomplishments:

• Land Rover G4 Challenge, 2nd place team at US selections.
• 2nd place (35-59), 2008 Xterra Mountain Championships.
• 1st female Xterra Nevada Triathlon 2006
• Xterra Regional Champion, Age Group 30 to 35
• Xterra National Championship, 2nd in age group 30 to 35

Season Goals:
Be faster than last year! Snowshoe racing is the perfect way to work on my running.
